Quramo Festival 2025 Advocacy Project Addresses Nigerian Civil War Wounds

The ninth edition of the Quramo Festival, known as QFest 2025, has launched an advocacy project titled "961 Days: Brothers' War Never Again," aimed at addressing the wounds of the Nigerian Civil War. Scheduled for October 2-5, the project features a panel of notable figures including Dr.

Akintunde Akinwumni, Max Siollun, Sam Omatseye, Professor Dul Johnson, Mallam Denja Abdullahi, Chigozie Obioma, and Tade Ipadeola. The festival will also showcase exhibitions of both recent and old fictional books on the Nigerian Civil War.

Additionally, renowned author Mukoma wa Thiong'o and veteran actress Joke Silva will headline the event, which will include writing masterclasses and engaging conversations on national healing and true nationhood.
