Katsina Governor Radda Launches 2026 Hajj Committee

On Monday, Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda inaugurated the 2026 Hajj Delegation Committee as part of early preparations for a smooth and successful pilgrimage to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During the inauguration, Governor Radda emphasized the committee's religious and administrative responsibilities, urging its members to build upon the successes of previous Hajj operations.

He instructed the committee to study past reports to enhance service delivery for the upcoming pilgrimage. The committee is composed of 11 members, reflecting broad representation from various sectors, including government, legislature, and local stakeholders.

Alhaji Ahm Usman El Marzuq serves as the chair, with members including Ali Isah Amadu, Ahm Diddiri, Alhaji Sani Ahm, Hajaratu Hajjo Lawal, Murja Ibrahim Duwan, Mairu Ibrahim Abduljal, Haruna Runka, Ahm Tijjani Abdulkadir, Yusuf Ibrahim Safana, and Abubakar Yusuf, who will serve as the secretary.
