Historic "Rain of Comedy 2026" Shakes Kaduna

The "Rain of Comedy 2026" took place on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026, at the prestigious Epitom Event Center in Barnawa, Kaduna. The event, hosted by comedian Prinz Talker, known as Yerima Magana, attracted a diverse audience, including top government officials and industry leaders.

Notably, it was the first time a Deputy Governor, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarab, attended a comedy show in Northern Nigeria, highlighting the significance of the event.

The show featured performances from renowned comedians such as Titu Flatmat and Pashun Kolo, and included a special awards segment recognizing individuals and organizations for their contributions to society. Awards were presented to Senator Uba Sani, Dr.

Hadiza Sabuwa Balarab for the Beacon of Hope Young Creative Award, and others for excellence in leadership and community service. The event concluded on a high note, reinforcing the idea that creativity is vital for social cohesion and development in Nigeria.
