Lawan Distributes 17,000 Bags of Food for Ramadan in Yobe

Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan, the former Senate President, initiated a distribution of 17,000 bags of rice and millet in Yobe State to support the Muslim community during the holy month of Ramadan. The distribution ceremony was flagged off in the Nguru Local Government Area over the weekend.

This gesture is part of the Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan Foundation's efforts to assist those observing Ramadan. Lawan emphasized that each of the 17 local government areas in Yobe received 1,000 bags of rice, sugar, and millet, which will be shared among members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and vulnerable community members.

Bashir Sheriff, the Nguru Nation Secretary, represented the APC during this charitable exercise, highlighting the party's commitment to supporting the community during this significant period.
