Goronyo Distributes ₦200M Palliatives for Ramadan in Sokoto

On Tuesday, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, the Minister of State, announced the distribution of over ₦200 million in cash and food items to members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sokoto State. This initiative aims to support vulnerable households as they prepare for the holy month of Ramadan.

The support package includes substantial cash donations and essential food items such as rice, millet, sugar, and maize. The distribution involves disbursing ₦33 million to local government ward executives, with various amounts allocated to different groups, including youth associations and community leaders.

A total of approximately 558 bags of rice and significant quantities of other food items were distributed. Goronyo expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his economic reforms and commended the leadership of Sokoto State Governor Alhaji Ahm Aliyu and Senator Dr.

Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko for their contributions to community development and grassroots empowerment.
