Saraki Donates Food to Support Muslims During Ramadan

Bukola Saraki, the former Senate President, extended greetings to the Muslim community as Ramadan commenced, urging greater compassion and responsibility. He highlighted the true purpose of fasting, which goes beyond abstaining from food and drink, and encourages support for others.

Saraki began distributing food items across Kwara State to assist underprivileged families during this holy month. He holds the title of Waziri Ngeri of Ilorin and called on Allah to accept the fasts and prayers of the faithful.

The distribution event was also attended by Issa Abdulrauf, Vice President of the IEDPU, who praised the humanitarian initiative aimed at supporting Muslim families during Ramadan. The program, which began on a Tuesday, aims to alleviate economic hardships faced by families during the fasting period and involves beneficiaries from five local government areas.

Abdulrauf urged individuals and organizations to provide similar support to vulnerable Muslims during Ramadan, emphasizing the importance of community welfare.
