Saraki to Provide Iftar Meals in 7 States During Ramadan

Bukola Saraki is set to provide Iftar meals in seven states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) during Ramadan. The initiative will take place in Niger State, Sokoto State, Bauchi State, Borno State, Kaduna State, Plateau State, and the FCT, with two mosques in each state participating.

Approximately 100 fasting Muslims are expected to benefit from the meals provided at each mosque. The program is executed by the Kwara State Foundation, which has a tradition of extensive outreach.

Audu Idowu Musa, the Executive Director of the initiative, emphasized that the program aims to provide relief to households during a time when economic pressures are keenly felt. Even a simple meal can offer significant relief to vulnerable households.

The Ramadan period serves as a reminder of the importance of compassion and support through small acts of kindness. The foundation has a long-standing commitment to humanitarian support, education, healthcare, and community development, and has praised the voluntary mosque committees coordinating logistics for the program.
