Saraki Foundation to Distribute Iftar Meals in Ramadan

The Saraki Foundation, initiated by former Senate President Dr. Bukola Saraki, has announced its plan to commence its annual Ramadan Iftar feeding program across seven states and the Federal Capital Territory.

This initiative, which begins during the last ten days of Ramadan, aims to support vulnerable members of the Muslim community by providing meals to break their fast. According to a statement issued by the Foundation's Executive Director, Audu Musa, the program is part of a broader humanitarian outreach commitment to assist underserved communities across Nigeria.

This year, meals will be distributed daily at two mosques per state, with an expectation of benefiting 100 fasting Muslims per mosque. In Kwara State, the Foundation will maintain its tradition by holding the program in 52 mosques, providing meals to thousands of Muslims during this period.

The Foundation encourages Nigerians to use the Ramadan period to pray for peace, unity, and progress in the country.
