Nigerian Singer Fave Disappointed as Ramadan Prevents Performance in Nigeria

Nigerian singer Fave, also known as Chidozi Godsfavour Ugochinyer, shared that she is unable to perform in Nigeria during Ramadan due to the rules that restrict artists from holding shows during the fasting period. She had planned to hold a concert on her birthday on March 13, but the date falls within Ramadan.

Fave expressed her confusion and disappointment over the situation, as this event would have been her first major show in Nigeria as an independent artist. Despite respecting the religion and the fasting period, she expressed her desire to celebrate her birthday with a live performance in her home country.

Fave mentioned that several promoters turned down the idea of holding the concert during Ramadan. She emphasized her Christian faith and her wish to celebrate her birthday through a live performance.
