Ramaphosa to Co-Chair UNESCO Meeting in France

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa is scheduled to undertake a work visit to France from July 10 to 12. During this visit, he will co-chair a high-level UNESCO meeting focused on education in Paris, alongside UNESCO Director-General Khale El Enani.

This meeting is part of the Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4) Steering Committee activities, following the Transforming Education Summit stocktake. On July 12, President Ramaphosa will attend the 110th anniversary commemoration of the Battle of Delville Wood, where he will lay a wreath and unveil a UNESCO plaque.

He will be accompanied by ministers and senior officials to advance South Africa's educational diplomacy and honor the country's wartime history.
