Rangers FC Increases Season Ticket Prices by 6.5%

Rangers FC confirmed a 6.5% increase in adult season ticket prices as part of a broader strategy to enhance revenue and invest heavily in the men's first team squad. This decision, announced by chairman Andrew Cavenagh, comes amid rising operational costs across the club and a desire to remain competitive on the pitch.

The club aims to raise £16 million through a new capital share issuance to fund these investments. Cavenagh explained that the increase in ticket prices is essential for the club to avoid cutbacks in football investments, as the revenue must keep pace with the rising costs of player wages, agent fees, and food and beverage prices, which are increasing faster than the overall rate of inflation.

He acknowledged the burden this places on supporters but insisted that the club is responsible for generating additional income. Alongside the ticket price rise, Rangers plans to raise additional funds through share issuance, reflecting a systematic review of the club's operations to enable greater resource allocation to the men's first team.
