NAFDAC Warns Nigerians Against Indomie Vegetable Flavor Noodles Due to Undeclared Allergens

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) issued a public alert warning Nigerians against consuming Indomie vegetable flavor noodles following a recall notice due to safety concerns. The noodles contain undeclared allergens (milk, egg) which can pose health risks to individuals with allergies or intolerances.

Although the official risk of the recalled product entering Nigeria is low, NAFDAC advises vigilance and intensifying surveillance to prevent the sale and consumption of affected products. Consumers are urged to discard the product immediately and report any adverse reactions to the nearest NAFDAC office.
