PDP Reconciliation Committee to Meet for Crisis Resolution

The reconciliation committee of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), which includes members from both Seyi Makinde's camp and Nyesom Wike's faction, is preparing to meet on Monday to harmonize conditions aimed at resolving the lingering crises within the party. This development was confirmed by Ememobong, who is associated with the committee.

High-ranking PDP leader Samuel Anyanwu expressed confidence that the party will soon recover from its internal challenges. The committee's meeting follows a previous gathering on Friday, where members identified key issues requiring reconciliation.

Notably, Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed had earlier declined to participate in the reconciliation process initiated by Wike's faction. As of now, no decisions have been made regarding the resolution of the ongoing issues or the establishment of a conventional interim caretaker committee for the state.
