FG Clarifies Dress Code for NSCDC, NIS Medical Screening

The Federal Government, through the Civil Defence Corps, issued a public notice clarifying that there is no prescribed dress code for applicants participating in the medical screening exercise for the 2025 recruitment exercise. The notice, released on Friday, was communicated by Mr.

Okeh Juliet, head of press for the Civil Defence Corps. The medical screening is scheduled to commence on June 22, 2026.

Applicants are advised to attend the exercise in normal, decent attire, as there is no specific dress code approved by the Civil Defence Corps. The notice also emphasized that no credential verification will be conducted during the medical screening.

Candidates were urged to disregard any misinformation regarding specific dress codes and to rely on official communications. The recruitment exercise has attracted significant interest, with approximately 1.9 million applications received nationwide, and the initial screening process will lead to a computer-based test in November 2025.
