Regamos Foundation Empowers 2,000 Youths with AI Skills

The Regamos Foundation has successfully empowered over 2,000 youths across Africa with digital and artificial intelligence skills through a three-day intensive program. This initiative, aimed at equipping participants for global competitiveness, attracted participants from various countries including Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Libya, Uganda, Somalia, Seychelles, Zambia, Malawi, and Eswatini.

During the virtual opening ceremony of the 2026 edition of the Youth Empowerment Program (YEP), Executive Director Dr. Regina Inem highlighted that the initiative goes beyond conventional training, focusing on practical skills for the future workforce.

She urged participants to fully leverage the opportunities presented, stressing the combination of artificial intelligence with human creativity and critical thinking. Ambassador Supriya Sharma emphasized the need for individuals to continuously adapt and learn in an AI-driven world.

The program included sessions led by Kaarthick R from Grid Guid Technology, which introduced practical AI applications. Participants like Abiola Joshua and Cassidi U commended the engaging and easy-to-understand training delivery.
