Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Urges Kogi Residents to Register

Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, the Senator representing Kogi Central, called on residents of Kogi State to register for their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVC) before the deadline of July 10, 2026. In a public awareness message issued in Abuja, she specifically appealed to youth and first-time voters to register early, describing the process as crucial for active participation in Nigeria's democratic system.

Akpoti-Uduaghan stressed that the voter’s card is a key tool for citizens to determine leadership and influence the development of governance. She urged Kogi indigenes, particularly the youth, to engage actively in the ongoing PVC registration exercise, asserting that voting is essential for shaping the future of their communities and the nation.

Furthermore, she warned against voter exclusion and encouraged eligible residents to complete their registration and update their details before the exercise closes. Akpoti-Uduaghan called on traditional rulers, community leaders, youth groups, and civil society organizations to intensify efforts to drive higher voter participation across Kogi State.
