Rema and Tyla are among the confirmed performers for the opening ceremony of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be held at Los Angeles Stadium. The ceremony is scheduled to begin 90 minutes before the kickoff at 16:30 local time on June 11.

This event is part of a larger opening ceremony across three host nations, including Mexico City and Toronto, with the tournament running from June 11 to July 19. Rema, known for his hit "Calm Down," joins a select group of African artists performing on such a prominent global platform.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino made a statement regarding the tournament's opening match, which will feature the United States against Paraguay. The World Cup will be the largest in history, with a record 104 matches scheduled across 16 host cities.
