Nigerian Justice Advocates for Road Safety After Personal Tragedy

Justice Monica Dongban Mensem, a Nigerian court of appeal president, transformed her personal tragedy of losing her son in a road traffic crash into advocacy for road safety. Inspired by others like Rochel Sobel and Brigitt Chaudhri, who also lost loved ones in road accidents, she works with organizations like ASIRT and the Federal Road Safety Corps to improve road safety standards globally.

Recently, a conference was held in Abuja to gather international road crash victims, emphasizing the importance of remembering victims and promoting safer travel practices.
