Renewed Hope Agenda Boosts Youth Leadership in Nigeria

Belusochukwu Enwer, the former national chairman of the youth wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN), spoke at a thanksgiving reception on Saturday, marking the completion of his five-year tenure from 2021 to 2026. He emphasized that the Renewed Hope Agenda initiated by President Bola Tinubu has significantly inspired youth leadership across Nigeria.

Enwer highlighted the growth and impact of YOWICAN during his tenure, which empowered thousands of young Christians and promoted youth leadership nationwide. He expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for creating opportunities for youth participation in leadership and acknowledged the support of First Lady Remi Tinubu and Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State.

Enwer also thanked the Catholic Bishop Conference of Nigeria and other church leaders for their guidance and support. He noted that mentorship and partnership were crucial in transforming the potential of young people, and he recognized the contributions of family and friends during his leadership.
