Borno Rep Mourns 11 Killed by Boko Haram Attack

On Thursday, Hon. Dr.

Midala Usman Balami, a member representing Askira Uba/Hawul Federal Constituency in Borno State, extended his sympathies to the families of 11 victims, including four vigilantes, who were killed during a Boko Haram attack in Pubagu Village. This incident took place last Tuesday and is part of a troubling trend of increased terrorist activity in the region.

Hon. Mada Saidu, the Executive Chairman of Askira Uba Local Government Area, also visited Pubagu Village to express his shock over the resurgence of terrorist attacks.

In response to this deadly incident, federal lawmakers have urged the government and security agencies to intensify efforts to protect the lives and properties of citizens. The ongoing threat from Boko Haram has led to daily abductions and significant insecurity in the area, with many individuals remaining in captivity without rescue.
