Ndume Condemns Borno Attack Killing Soldiers and Civilians

Senator Ali Ndume condemned the tragic killing of six soldiers and several civilians in a Boko Haram attack that occurred around 12 p.m. on Wednesday in Mussa Village, Askira Uba Local Government Area, Borno State. The attack was described as part of a series of assaults targeting military positions in southern Borno.

Ndume urged the federal government to equip security forces with modern weapons and strengthen intelligence operations to effectively tackle the insurgency. He emphasized the necessity of advanced military assets to prevent further loss of life in the region.

Additionally, Ndume expressed condolences to the families of those killed in the attack and commended the efforts of the Nigerian Army, Police, Civilian Joint Task Force, and local vigilantes in the fight against terrorism, reiterating the need for sustained support for security agencies.
