Tinubu's Assurance to PDP in Ebonyi Dismissed by APC

Prof. Nentaw Yilwatda, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), refuted reports suggesting that President Bola Tinubu assured the People's Democratic Party (PDP) of victory in Ebonyi State.

During a grand rally organized by the APC in Abakaliki, Yilwatda stated that such insinuations are false and emphasized that there is no decision anywhere indicating that the APC would allow the PDP to win in Ebonyi. He urged party members to remain steadfast, asserting that the APC has a significant presence in the state and that there is "no vacancy anywhere" for the opposition.

Yilwatda also addressed concerns raised by Governor Francis Nwifuru, a PDP leader, regarding the influence of the Federal Capital Territory on the elections. He highlighted the impact of Tinubu's administration on the South East geopolitical zone, particularly in addressing long-standing issues such as bad roads.

Governor Nwifuru expressed gratitude for Tinubu's contributions to Ebonyi, reinforcing the APC's commitment to the state's development.
