Bayelsa APC Chairman Backs Tinubu for Re-Election

Warman Ogoriba, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State, stated that President Bola Tinubu has performed well and deserves a second term in office despite facing criticism. Speaking in Yenagoa on Tuesday, Ogoriba expressed confidence in Tinubu's chances for re-election, asserting that the administration's performance has been credible since assuming office.

He noted that criticism is a normal part of democracy and should not distract from the government's mandate to deliver development. Ogoriba welcomed constructive criticism but dismissed calls for Tinubu's resignation, likening it to routine political pressure faced by leaders globally.

He emphasized that Nigerians are beginning to feel the impact of the president's policies and programs, which he believes will translate into electoral support. Ogoriba assessed Tinubu's performance at over 90 percent and highlighted ongoing infrastructure projects, including road networks, while addressing economic challenges such as rising living costs.
