Apostle Suleman Challenges Tinubu to Resign Over Insecurity

Apostle Johnson Suleman, the senior pastor of Omega Fire Ministries International, publicly challenged President Bola Tinubu to resign if he is unable to tackle the worsening insecurity in Nigeria. During a sermon addressing his church members, Suleman emphasized that the financial backing of terrorism poses the greatest threat to the country.

He pointed out that parts of Nigeria are currently facing attacks from terrorists, bandits, and kidnappers. Suleman argued that the real issue lies in identifying and prosecuting the sponsors of these violent groups.

He expressed confidence in the capabilities of Nigeria's security agencies, describing the military and police as among the best in the world. However, he insisted that the challenge of insecurity is not being effectively managed, leading to the rise of young individuals, some as young as six years old, being armed and empowered to commit violence.

Suleman urged that if the president cannot address these issues, he should allow someone else to take charge.
