APC Chieftain Urges US Action on Gbajabiamila's Comments

Timi Frank, the former deputy national public secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has formally petitioned the United States to investigate Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, over comments made about the African Democratic Congress (ADC). In a viral video, Gbajabiamila allegedly suggested that the ADC should be "scattered" to ensure a favorable outcome in elections.

Frank described these remarks as reckless and a threat to Nigeria's democracy, raising serious concerns about the integrity of the political system under Tinubu's administration. He argued that such comments could undermine the independence of the judiciary and damage public trust.

Frank has called for Gbajabiamila to resign immediately, stating that his conduct is intolerable in a democratic setting. He plans to file a formal petition with the U.S.

Embassy in Nigeria to seek international attention on the matter, emphasizing the need for respect for democratic institutions and the separation of powers.
