APC Chieftain Timi Frank Petitions US Over Gbajabiamila

Timi Frank, the former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has formally petitioned the United States to investigate Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, over comments he allegedly made regarding the African Democratic Congress (ADC). In a viral video, Gbajabiamila purportedly suggested that the ADC should be "scattered" to ensure a favorable outcome in elections.

Frank described these remarks as reckless and a threat to Nigeria's democratic stability, raising serious concerns about the integrity of the political system under Tinubu's administration. He argued that such comments could undermine the independence of the judiciary and damage public trust in democratic institutions.

Frank has called for Gbajabiamila to resign immediately, stating that his conduct is intolerable in a democratic setting. He plans to formally petition the U.S.

Embassy in Nigeria to draw international attention to the issue, which he believes could further destabilize Nigeria's democratic framework.
