RHI Distributes Food to Vulnerable Nigerians Monthly

On Saturday, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Nigeria’s First Lady and National Chairperson of the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), revealed that her initiative receives two truckloads of assorted food items each month for distribution to vulnerable populations, including persons with disabilities. This announcement was made during a food presentation ceremony in Bauchi State, where food items worth millions of naira were handed over to Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed, the First Lady of Bauchi State, for distribution.

The food items were donated by an anonymous donor, with another donor identified as the Abdul Samad Rabiu Africa Initiative. Launched in March 2024, the RHI aims to support vulnerable groups and improve their well-being, complementing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda.

The initiative has distributed food items to 28 states and the Federal Capital Territory, with Bauchi being the 29th beneficiary. Katsina and Akwa Ibom states are next in line for support.
