ADC Accuses UNIPORT VC of Election Rigging Plot

The Rivers State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has accused individuals associated with the Rainbow Coalition, including Professor Princewill Chike, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), of plotting to rig the upcoming 2027 elections. Chizy Enyi, the ADC's Publicity Secretary, claimed in a video that Professor Chike is a member of the Rainbow Coalition, a socio-political movement led by Minister Nyesom Wike.

Enyi alleged that Chike would nominate returning officers for the elections, asserting that these individuals would be members of the coalition. He further stated that Chike was recommended and imposed as VC by Wike, and pointed to a signpost at the university entrance that identifies Chike with the coalition.

Enyi expressed concerns about the integrity of the election process, stating that the nominations would likely favor the coalition, and challenged Chike's intentions in Port Harcourt.
