ADC in Rivers State Stays United Amid Key Defections

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Rivers State, under the leadership of Chairman Chukwudi Dimkpa, has expressed its determination to maintain party unity following the exits of former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi and former Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, who joined the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC). Dimkpa stated that these defections do not weaken the ADC, emphasizing that the party's strength lies in its shared principles rather than individual members.

He reassured ADC members that the party's organizational structure remains intact across all 23 local government areas in Rivers State. The ADC aims to intensify grassroots mobilization to strengthen its presence at the ward and local government levels.

The party is committed to providing people-oriented leadership and encouraging residents to participate in ongoing voter registration efforts to broaden its support base.
