Rivers APC Appeal Panel Concludes Sitting, Awaiting Report

The appeal panel for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State concluded its two-day sitting on Wednesday evening, with aspirants now anxiously awaiting the report on their petitions. The panel, chaired by Abdul Mahmud, had promised to attend to petitions until 5 PM on Wednesday.

During the session, Mahmud commended the aspirants for their peaceful conduct, noting that the committee received a total of 19 petitions. The panel's findings will be disclosed in due course, although the exact time for filing the report was not specified.

Gogo Isaiah, an aspirant, appeared before the panel with the necessary documents as requested. The APC spokesman, Chibik Ikenga, confirmed that the panel had completed its work and would announce the findings at a later date.

The atmosphere at the APC Secretariat along Aba Road was described as slightly busy as the committee wrapped up its activities.
