Rivers Electoral Commission Begins Distribution of Materials for Saturday Polls

The Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) commenced the distribution of sensitive materials ahead of the local government elections scheduled for Saturday, August 30, 2025. The distribution took place at the RSIEC headquarters in Port Harcourt, with tight security measures in place.

Representatives from political parties, security agencies, and RSIEC staff were present during the sorting and distribution process. The exercise was closely monitored to ensure transparency and security.
