Wike Claims to Be Most Experienced Politician in Rivers

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory and a former governor of Rivers State, proclaimed himself the most experienced politician in Rivers State since 1999 during a special media chat held in Port Harcourt on Saturday. This statement came in response to Governor Siminalayi Fubara's return to Wike's political family.

Wike criticized unnamed politicians for allegedly misleading Fubara during a political crisis that has affected the state since 2023. He asserted, “I was a governor in the state and I know all these people.

In fact, there is no politician in the state today that is more experienced than me.” Wike's comments underscore his position and influence in the state's political landscape, particularly in light of the ongoing political dynamics involving Fubara.
