Worlu criticized the short-term benefits offered by political parties and stressed the need for policies that enable economic growth. He outlined his administration's efforts to tackle challenges such as insecurity, poor waste management, and traffic congestion.

Worlu lamented the high levels of poverty and unemployment in the area, despite the presence of several higher institutions and multinational oil companies. He questioned why local residents do not benefit from contracts and opportunities provided by these companies, highlighting the need for local suppliers to be prioritized.
