Ikwerre LG Chair Partners with Russian Firm for Flour Mill

On Wednesday, Hon. Charl Wobodo, the chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area, confirmed a partnership with a Russian company aimed at driving development projects for the Ikwerre people. During a courtesy visit from a delegation representing the Russian company at the Isiokpo council headquarters, Wobodo expressed appreciation for the company's commitment to developing the area.

He highlighted the council's readiness to contribute its quota towards establishing a flour mill industry, ensuring land security to facilitate the project's realization. Wobodo expressed happiness regarding the employment opportunities that the company's operations would provide for the local population.

Elechi Nwagwagu, a leader in the delegation, introduced the Russian company's intent to collaborate with the council for the area's development.
