Mother Seeks Justice After Driver Kills Three Children

Amarachi Promis Esomonu is demanding justice following a tragic incident on May 15 in Ogbunabali, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, where her three children, aged 10, four, and three, were killed. The accident occurred when a young man was allegedly teaching his girlfriend to drive, and she lost control of the vehicle, crashing into the family's residence.

Eyewitnesses reported that people shouted as the car approached, but it was too late to prevent the tragedy. Esomonu expressed her grief, stating that she used to prepare her children for school every morning, but now she wakes up to silence.

The Rivers State Police Command, led by Commissioner Olugbenga Adepoju, has promised a thorough investigation into the incident and extended condolences to the bereaved family. The police have urged the public to remain calm and avoid spreading unverified information while the investigation continues.
