Man Kills Lover, Abandons Body in Tricycle with Kids

In a tragic incident in Ogbogoro Community, Obio Akpor Local Government Area, Rivers State, a man, identified as Senibo, allegedly killed his lover following a heated argument. The incident occurred on Tuesday along CPM Street, where the woman's lifeless body was discovered inside a stationary tricycle alongside two young children, aged five and six months.

Residents alerted the police after noticing the scene around 7 AM. The children reportedly informed authorities that their father had beaten their mother with an object at a guest house the previous night.

After the incident, the suspect fled, leaving the children and the deceased behind. The Rivers State Police Command, represented by spokesperson Bless Agab, confirmed that investigations are ongoing to apprehend the suspect and ensure justice is served.

The deceased's sister has taken custody of the two children.
