RMAFC Commends Akwa Ibom's Economic Contributions

The Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), represented by Prof. Olusegun Adekunle Wright, acknowledged the significant role of Akwa Ibom State in Nigeria's economy during a courtesy visit to Governor Umo Eno at the Government House in Uyo.

Prof. Wright described Akwa Ibom as a symbol of resilience and enterprise, highlighting the state's consistent contributions to national development.

He commended the people of Akwa Ibom for their industrious spirit and commitment to excellence, noting the state's achievements in transforming governance and sustaining investments in infrastructure, healthcare delivery, education, aviation, tourism, and human capital development. Governor Umo Eno welcomed the RMAFC team and assured them of a smooth collaboration to achieve the commission's objectives.

He expressed gratitude for the positive observations made about the state and pledged to develop initiatives that would improve the lives of the people. The meeting included key state officials, such as Deputy Governor Senat Akon Eyakenyi and Secretary of State Government Princ Enobong Uwah.
