Fatal Road Crash Claims Three Lives in Plateau State

On Monday, a tragic road crash occurred at Polo Roundabout in Jo North Local Government Area, Plateau State, resulting in the deaths of three people, including the truck driver. The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) confirmed the incident, which took place around 2:30 PM.

Peter Longsan, the FRSC's public education officer for the state, explained that the crash was caused by the truck reportedly losing control. He warned drivers against reckless driving, especially during odd hours when visibility is poor.

Longsan urged motorists to ensure their vehicles are in good condition before embarking on journeys and to strictly adhere to speed limits and traffic regulations. He emphasized that compliance with safety measures is crucial to reducing road crashes and saving lives.
