Rover FC Calabar Players Injured in Bus Crash to Lagos

On Monday morning, players from Rover FC Calabar were involved in a serious bus accident while traveling to Lagos for a scheduled league fixture. The crash occurred at Okada Junction when the team’s vehicle lost control and tumbled off the road.

Following the incident, several players were reported to be in critical condition, battling internal bleeding, while others sustained deep cuts and multiple injuries. Edem Oyom, the team manager, confirmed the severity of the situation and stated that the club is working around the clock to ensure that the affected players receive the best possible medical care.

The incident has raised concerns about the safety of team transportation, especially during league travels.
