CCN Condemns Release of Undocumented Chinese Workers in Royal Castle Ceramics Scandal

The Coalition Concerned Nigerians (CCN) has condemned the release of five undocumented Chinese workers by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) in connection with the Royal Castle Ceramics scandal in Ogun State. The CCN called for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to investigate alleged irregularities within the NIS.

The workers were accused of being employed without proper documentation for nearly four years, relying on a Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) registration certificate instead of valid expatriate permits. The workers were released despite clear evidence of immigration violations, including illegal residency and unauthorized employment, breaching the Immigration Act of 2015.
