Rudiger Extends Real Madrid Contract Until 2027

Antonio Rudiger has agreed to extend his contract with Real Madrid, which will now run until June 30, 2027. The announcement was made by the club on Tuesday.

Rudiger, a 33-year-old central defender, joined Real Madrid from Chelsea in 2022. During his time with the club, he has achieved significant success, winning La Liga and the UEFA Champions League in 2024, as well as the Copa del Rey in 2023.

The extension of his contract reflects the club's confidence in his abilities and contributions to the team. Additionally, Real Madrid's president, Florentino Perez, appointed Jose Mourinho as the coach earlier in June.

The club is also reportedly interested in signing Spanish left-back Marc Cucurella from Chelsea and has been linked with players such as Bernardo Silva and Denzel Dumfries.
