RUDN University to Train 2,000 Nigerian Media Specialists

RUDN University is set to train 2,000 Nigerian specialists in media, research, and pedagogy through a program organized by its Centre for Continuing Professional Education. The training will be conducted across five states: Kwara, Nasarawa, Abuja (Federal Capital Territory), Osun, and Ekiti, in collaboration with ten Nigerian higher institutions, including the University of Ilorin and Kaduna State University.

The program, directed by Dr. Mustapha Muham Jamiu, focuses on equipping participants with practical skills relevant to modern media practices and research in the digital age.

Elizaveta Telegina, Vice-Rector for Continuing Education at RUDN University, emphasized the importance of continuous learning in adapting to technological advancements. The initiative aims to strengthen the professional competencies of Nigerian specialists and promote intercultural understanding.

The program is part of a broader effort to enhance professional training quality across African countries, with specific programs for media, intercultural communication, and entrepreneurship.
