Isaac Fayose Slams Wike's Aide Over Arise TV Clash

Isaac Fayose, the younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, publicly criticized Lere Olayinka, the media aide to Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, during a live interview on Arise Television's 'The Morning Show.' The confrontation arose when anchor Rufai Oseni questioned Lere about the inclusion of former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs Betta Edu in a presidential campaign council, despite facing corruption allegations. Lere Olayinka declined to answer the question, instead objecting to Rufai's use of the Yoruba expression “Gbewudani” and stated he would not respond to questions from the anchor.

In response, Isaac Fayose condemned Lere's behavior, suggesting that his arrogance stemmed from having "tasted power." He remarked on Lere's conduct, stating it was disgraceful and reflective of his character, asserting that such behavior would influence future generations.
