Wike's aide clashes with journalist on The Morning Show

Olayinka, an aide to a political figure, appeared on The Morning Show where he had a confrontation with journalist Oseni Rufai. The clash arose when Rufai questioned the inclusion of former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Betta Edu, in the presidential campaign council despite existing corruption allegations against her.

Instead of addressing the question, Olayinka expressed his refusal to engage with Rufai, citing an earlier comment where Rufai described some individuals as “emudani.” Olayinka stated, “Well, I’m very sorry to say this, Oseni Rufai, I don’t want to answer any question from you. I want to concentrate.” Co-anchor Ayo Mairo-Ese intervened, reminding Olayinka that he had agreed to speak to all three anchors, including Reuben Abati.

The interview was subsequently concluded, with Mairo-Ese suggesting that Olayinka could be invited back when he was prepared to engage with all anchors.
