Dangiwa Hands Over Housing Ministry to Yusuf Ata in Abuja

On Thursday, Ahm Musa Dangiwa officially handed over his responsibilities as the Minister of Housing and Urban Development to the new Minister of State, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata.

The handover ceremony took place at the Ministry's headquarters in Mabushi, Abuja, just 48 hours after Dangiwa was relieved of his duties by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. During the ceremony, Dangiwa expressed his gratitude to President Tinubu for the opportunity to serve in the cabinet, describing it as a rare privilege.

He acknowledged the invaluable partnership with stakeholders in the housing sector and emphasized the need for continued collaboration to drive reforms and achieve positive outcomes. Dangiwa welcomed Ata and urged staff and stakeholders to extend their cooperation and support as he takes on the important tasks ahead in the housing and urban development sector.

The outgoing minister highlighted the innovative ideas he introduced during his tenure and expressed optimism for the future of Nigeria's housing sector.
