Sahara Group's 2025 Sustainability Report Highlights Commitment

Sahara Group has published its 2025 Sustainability Report, emphasizing its commitment to responsible energy development and sustainable business practices across its global operations. The report's theme, "Sustain Beyond," reflects the group's integrated approach to environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and governance across its upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.

Ejiro Grai, Director of Governance and Sustainability at Sahara Group, stated that the report showcases the group's sustainability journey and its efforts to embed environmental responsibility and social impact into its operations. Key achievements include avoiding 600,000 kilograms of carbon dioxide emissions, recycling significant volumes of materials, and maintaining a zero lost time injury record across operations.

The report also details community investments, including educational and skill development initiatives benefiting over 10,000 individuals. Bethel Obioma, Head of Corporate Communications, noted that the report reflects a deliberate shift towards a "beyond energy" approach, positioning sustainability as a core business imperative across the entire energy value chain.
