At the 10th edition of the Sub-Saharan Africa International Petroleum Exhibit Conference (SAIPEC), Solewant Group, a gold sponsor, emphasized the need for impactful capacity building and effective oil and gas policies across African countries. Mr.

Solomon Ewanehi, Chief Executive Officer of Solewant Group, highlighted the importance of enforcing policies that enhance local content and economic resilience. The group engaged in high-level bilateral meetings with Namibian representatives, including Ambassador Wald Natangw Ndevashiya, to discuss collaboration on training initiatives.

Discussions also took place with Dr. Atika Karim from ONHYM regarding potential cooperation in Morocco's gas sector.

Mr. Cani Jobe from the Petroleum Commission of Gambia opened pathways for a memorandum of understanding on training initiatives.

The group also focused on creating a certification ecosystem to standardize training and enhance local content, with a commitment to hold the Africa Energy Summit in November 2026, aimed at scaling innovation and financing for Africa's energy security.
