Hamann Critiques Salah's Performance Amid Goal Drought

Dietmar Hamann, a former Liverpool midfielder, expressed concerns over Mohamed Salah's current form, stating that the Egyptian winger is no longer the impactful player he once was for Liverpool FC. Salah is enduring a challenging season, marked by a significant goal drought, having failed to score in ten consecutive matches, which ties an unwanted club record.

Hamann noted that Salah's struggles have coincided with Liverpool's inconsistent performance this season, leading to a drop in their position in the English Premier League. He emphasized that Salah's ability to create goals and space for teammates has diminished.

Despite these challenges, Hamann remains hopeful that Salah can regain his form and contribute to Liverpool's efforts to secure a top-four finish in the Premier League and advance in the UEFA Champions League. Hamann also mentioned Liverpool's interest in Bayern Munich's Michael Olise as a potential replacement for Salah.
