APC Criticizes Tambuwal for Neglecting Community Development in Sokoto State

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sokoto State criticized former Governor Tambuwal for neglecting the community during his tenure. Speaking at a stakeholders' meeting, APC's chairman Isa Achida praised the current governor, Ahm Aliyu, for prioritizing grassroots development with visible projects and empowerment programs across the area.

Achida faulted Tambuwal's involvement in a political coalition of old politicians, urging him to support youth and community development instead. The APC described the coalition as offering nothing new and emphasized the achievements of Governor Aliyu within a short period.

The party welcomed defectors from the People's Democratic Party, assuring them of equal rights within the APC and urging them to mobilize support ahead of the 2027 general elections.
