Sokoto APC Criticizes Tambuwal, Welcomes PDP Defectors Ahead of 2027 Elections

The Sokoto APC has criticized former Governor Aminu Tambuwal for alleged neglect of his community during his tenure, welcoming PDP defectors in Tambuwal Local Government, Sokoto State. The party emphasized its focus on grassroots development and visible projects in the area under the leadership of Isa Achida.

The APC chairman commended the defectors and assured them of equal rights within the party. The local government chairman, Tambuwal Naigari, and other officials pledged commitment to surpass previous performance levels.

Notably, over 8,300 residents in the area have benefited from financial support from the state government. The APC aims to document its achievements and counter misinformation as it prepares for the 2027 elections.

The party expressed confidence in defeating the opposition based on its infrastructure, education, healthcare, and other development efforts across the state.
